Cornish Hens with Garlic Cream Cheese Recipe
Four simple ingredients are all you need to make a savory and rich Cornish hen main dish. Serve alongside warm French bread.
I made this recipe exactly as written. It was so yummy! We had crusty french bread to dip in the cream cheese mixture and a salad. I will definitely make this again
I halved the amount of cream cheese to be stuffed inside the hens, cook times as well as oven temp were spot on. I recommend, if you can monitor the bake, using melted butter to continuously baste the hens, making the skin crispy and moistening the hen further.
What a great recipe. Followed the directions exactly and the chicken came out perfectly. I mixed the juice from the chicken and some of the hot cream cheese into medium egg noodles as a side. Yes, I know, a fattening side dish but sometimes you just gotta relax and enjoy! A keeper for us!
Loved this!! I've been making cornish hens for Valentines for so many years with the same recipe thought I'd try something different. This is the one for me ... easy, fast, and YUMMY!!!!!
I made it exactly as the recipe said and it turned out absolutely delicious. My entire family loved. I will be making this again.
Made this recipe as written, with no changes. Actually, we were disappointed. Will not be making this again.
Lemon- and rosemary-infused, little game hens basted with a wine and garlic broth make any occasion special.
Seasoned Cornish hens are simmered in a lemony broth creating a juicy, fall-off-the-bone slow cooker meal.
